Our Story

it started on a Sunday evening while lighting a new candle that had just been delivered. I asked myself, how difficult could it be to create my own? Create the scents i wanted and maybe save a little pocket change.

Well it may not have been much cheaper as I experienced a lot of trial and error at first. I began with a simple kit that contained tea light tins, some oils and a few wicks. Queue the pot of boiling water and I was off. Being fascinated with how things are built and only slightly interested in physics, the chemical compounds combined with the mechanics of wicks brought me back to my young pyro self.

I was off the races to discover new scents, vessels and optimizations. The art of candle making is not new and I found many resources available to answer my growing number of questions.

A year or so later, I was making candles of all types and enjoying the process. I developed tarts, molds, pillars and container candles. I found it relaxing and enjoyable.

Once my friends and family discovered my new hobby interest, they quickly began asking for samples and volunteering to test my creations. I was more than happy to oblige and absorb their admiration, encouragement and excitement.

I started to label the creations and soon the question became, “Where is the website?”, “How do I purchase them?” and “Can I special order a scent?”

Here we are. My candles are all created by hand and through a hobbyist website. If you found this website then I can only assume you were sent here word of mouth. To me, that realization is the most satisfying feeling of all. Be well!
